The blast resistant out swinging personnel egress door is one of the first of its kind a brand new design from GPS Specialty Doors.

This type of door is for applications where the blast loads are well above pre-engineered standard models and are most always custom doors.

This door is designed for extreme blast loads while allowing personnel to safely exit the facility in one smooth fluid movement. An additional fly wheel on the exterior side allows the door to be accessed and armed on either side of the opening.

Hardware for these types of doors is custom and dependent on the blast loads and specifications required.
